Join WISTA QLD for an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of Maritime Safety Queensland (MSQ) at Pinkenba.

This unique opportunity will provide an insight into the people, systems and processes that support maritime safety across Queensland.

The event will also provide an opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of MSQ’s role in Queensland’s maritime safety network, along with an update on the Port of Brisbane - Channel Enhancement Project.

The Channel Enhancement Project is a long-term investment being undertaken by the Port of Brisbane to ensure the port can safely and efficiently accommodate the larger vessels expected to call Brisbane and service Australia over the coming decades. The project involves planning for future enhancements to the shipping channel to improve maritime safety, increase operational efficiency, support forecast trade growth and maintain the Port’s role as Queensland’s primary trade gateway. As a key piece of infrastructure for SEQ and the Australian economy, the project focuses on future-proofing the Port while supporting more efficient supply chains and sustainable economic growth.
